This page gives the history of Houston's Supernatural families. There are plenty of (mostly) mortal families that have had impacts on Houston's mortal world. On NuMetal, the Supernatural families hold a place of particular distinction.

PCs do not have to be a part of a Supernatural family. It is completely optional, offering pre-existing ties to other characters that may be in the same family. Again, the point is to encourage RP and help ease the transition of new characters into the game.

While some of the families lean towards one particular sphere or another, all families are open to all spheres. There are no exclusions. Similarly, while some families may have started with one particular racial, national, or cultural background, by 1994 all of those boundaries are basically meaningless to Supernatural families who understood, long before the mortal world, that if you just took the time to get to know someone, you'd find that there are plenty of more important reasons to hate people besides racial or national backgrounds.

So join where you'd like, be who you'd like. There are no boundaries here besides the ones you create for yourselves.

Julien's explorations lead to encounters with primal forces and ancient spirits, enriching the family’s arcane knowledge, but no sign of the portal. The texts incorrectly referenced what was, actually, the hidden rift created decades ago.
