Giancarlo will turn to give a smile to Sonja and Ana and a gentle nod of his head, greeting them but without saying any words. He remains relatively quiet throughout the whole ordeal to save on confusion until Ha-Joon announces moving to the next room. He will then clasp those gold ring clad hands behind his back and move along with the Ha-Joon.

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

A familiar voice is heard, and Annisma can be seen turning her blushed cheek of pink in the direction of Ha-Joon. "Yes, young man, I am certainly pleased to hear your voice again. It seems our company will be kept once more, but without my grandson present.' She has someone new with her though, and gestures to the tall Ian. "He'll be accompanying me until another delegate of ours arrives." She taps her way, as if expecting Ian to show her the right room to go in. "Shall we?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Caressa nods, "That would be nice, depending on the hour. Well, I suppose I should be waiting outside then.?" Her feathered hair-style ruffles a bit as she turns to slip back out.

The Prince of the Kindred enters the room and walks around the table, taking a seat on one side of it. He glances back to Giancarlo with a nod as he sits down, his eyes watching the doors as the rest enter.

Oh, Barry's coming along? Well, sure, okay. The tall park ranger clocks those entering the room for the meeting, and pulls a manilla folder out from inside his jacket, along with a slightly used yellow legal pad and a pencil, as he comes up to the table, finding himself a seat with all the pomp and circumstance of a civil servant sitting down to a scheduled meeting.

Standing near the door, is Khafra, Kian and Caressa. Khafra leans on his cane a bit as he talks to Kian and Caressa.

As people beging filing in, Khafra offers a bow to each person in turn before looking back to Caressa. "Have a drink or two and stay close by." He asks of her when she says she's waiting outside. He looks to Kian and gestures to the table. He turns and moves back towards the table, not sitting just yet. He leans on his cane for the moment.

Caressa gives Khafra a smile, which looks a little odd with her owlish features, but it doesn't detract from her beauty. "Indeed, good luck, both of you." Her green eyes take in the delegates, that intense gaze committing the moment to memory, as they step in before there is room for her to step out.

Giancarlo will walk alongside Ha-Joon maintaining that intoxicating smile as he pulls up a seat next to the man and sits down. He will take this moment now to give a once over of those present with his hazel eyed gaze, giving them each a thorough look to observe them.

Kian is seated on the table while smoking. As more people start to file in he slips off the edge of the table to land on his feet with a smile. For this evening he's wearing a leather jacket over a black t-shirt with dark jeans and comfortable sneakers. A polite nod of this head is given as the cigarette is ashed in a glass ashtray on the table. "Looks like we're going to have a good turn out."

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma will stroll in with her walking stick and still holding Ian by the elbow. "Find us the most comfortable chair and one where the exit won't hit us with a cold draft if you will." She says this to the tall man beside her. As soon as he guides her down to sit she will get more comfortable, and remove the pink handkerchief from her hair where it's knotted. "Thank you, now can someone please give me a count of all the people in the room? Or shall we go around and at least say which faction we're from? Or are we all going to simply talk for now, and air the problems occuring in this city. The way I understand it is we have no arbitrator. So may I suggest, we go around the room, one at a time for the first parlez of business?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Ian would bow to Annisma "I am sure Sterling will be here shortly" then he would head out

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Finding a seat near the front, Lunafreya settles in, her posture both relaxed and poised. She places her hands lightly on her lap, the silver charms on her belt glinting softly in the light. Her gaze sweeps across the room, taking in the diverse assembly of leaders. Turning slightly, she catches Annisma’s eye and offers a warm smile, accompanied by a slight nod of respect, if not for her station then for being an elder. The strength of the other woman is palpable, and Lunafreya's expression reflects her receptive warmth for the other.

As the vampire prince moves toward the Eclipse Chamber's center, she shifts her focus back to him, her stance attentive and neutral. Khafra is given a polite nod as well,"Good to see you again." The atmosphere hums with anticipation, and she leans slightly forward as the elderly woman speaks first. "I believe that would be prudent. My name is Lunafreya, Speaker for Panthesilea, Voice of the Amazon, and Alpha of my Sept, also known as the Sept of the Holly King which is the largest and wealthiest Sept in the city of Houston. I am here to represent the interests of the Garou Nation constituents of this gathering which includes the Bastet, Uktena, and Mokole. With me is my second, who will introduce themselves to the council."
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

Having the door shut, it seems nobody else is coming in. Khafra turns his attention to Annisma. He smiles a bit and then looks to the others. He taps his cane on the floor, just enough to get everyone's attention.

"Normally those that come to Cane Creek carry a bit of anonimity with psuedonyms and holding their secrets close to their chests." Khafra says. "Some of us do not have that luxury. Some choose not. I would simply ask, in this room? During this auspicous conclave that we share a little of ourselves." He looks to the others, "Our host from Cane Creek could not join us and I believe he was going to help arbitrate here."

As Lunafreya speaks up, Khafra shuts his piehole and smiles to her, letting the introductions flow.

Barry does the half-stand, speaking toward the woman requesting introductions and saying "Barry Longfellow, Texas Parks and WIldlife." He does not really further elaborate. He speaks for the trees!

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Ah,' the softer voice of the older woman chuckles when she hears Lunafreya offer her introduction. Annisma reaches over in her direction as if fumbling a bit, and offers her a light pat, pat on the hand. Just like everything is going to be alight now.

When she leans back into her chair, she grips the walking stick in both hands, and she offers introduction to the room. "You may call me The Pearl from Water." She says this as if she just marked her Bingo Card with her name. "I have come a long way to be here this evening, all the way from Hibernia. We will speak for the Fair Folk tonight."
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

The Kindred Prince stands, buttoning his blazer, and glances from Lunafreya and then to Khafra. "If I may be so bold as to say that while I respect the rules of this establishment, the purpose of this meeting is for each of our factions to present our evidences and experiences while dealing with the most current calamity with the hopes to solve this problem so that we may carry on with our lives." Another nod is given to Khafra. "That being said, I am Ha-Joon, Archon of the Camarilla and Prince of Houston. I represent the Kindred of Houston. With me is Mr. Giancarlo who, when the time is appropriate, will share his account and the account of his family. After which, I will exchange him with another Kindred who has been dutiful in obtaining reports of the odd dreams that my people have been experiencing. Thank you." He places his hands before him and bows, then taking a seat as he unbuttons his blazer.

Moving in to sit with Lunafreya as her second, Reaches Out leans forward a bit as does so. "I am Reaches Out, member of the Sept of the Holly King and a city wolf in the Sept. I am ex-military, a scout and represent our Sept as a strategic mind and understanding of city affairs for the Sept beyond what my Alpha might know." Reached Out introduces himself.

Kian collects his ashtray and then stands where his seat is at the table. Nodding as introductions are made to each speaker, he then says when it's his turn, "I greet you as Kian Ardalan Farrokhzad, Zoatar of the Taftani, bearer of the Fire of Asha and protector of the eternal truth, herald of the Disparate Alliance here in Huston." A polite bow follows those words, and then he takes his seat once introductions are concluded.

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

Into the chamber sweeps the regal figure of one Dr. Richard Sterling. He's dressed to impress in his bespoke Hugo Boss suit and tie. He glances around the room at the assembled gathering. "Ah. I see I've found the right place." He makes his way over to Annisma, offering a gentle touch to her shoulder as he settles his hefty frame down next to her. "Ma'am. I was afraid for a moment that I'd be held up at the clinic. The place is a bloody -madhouse-," he grumbles softly. As people begin to introduce themselves, he gives Annisma's shoulder another gentle pat. "Allow me, ma'am." He rises to his feet and projects that deep, smooth baritone of his. "Good evening, everyone. I am Lord Richard Sterling ap Fiona, Baron of Silver Springs, and I am here to speak on behalf of the Kithain of the Duchy of Fallen Stars." He glances around at the gathering. "As I'm given to understand it, we're all here to meet on a matter of some import to all our varying communities." He settles himself back down, lifting the lapel of his suit coat and reaching into the breast pocket for one of his stout cigars. His introduction given, he will hear what the others have to say.
----------------------------------------------------------------< Sterling >--

As each person introduces themselves, Khafra offers a bow of his head to them in respect. The smile for the Prince is not nearly as bright as the others. To Lunafreya, Khafra greets, "It is good to see you again too." He nods to what's said.

As he stands up tall, Khafra looks to those and intones, "I represent the Tradition Magi of Houston." His head dips for a second, "I am Adeptus Major Khafra Ramses bani Tytalus Ordo Hermes." As he gives his introduction, there's a slight static cling in the air. Introductions given, Khafra eases himself into the chair and leans his cane against his leg.

A gesture to Ha-Joon, "If you've got your notes in order, would you care to start?"

Giancarlo will rise up alongside of Ha-Joon, buttoning his own suit jacket up and giving a warm, confident appearance and a pleasant smile to everyone in the room as he is introduced. He speaks no words for the time being, keeping down on the chatter so that the evenings events can kick off.

Ha-Joon nods his head, glancing around. "Why do we not begin with the eve of the blackout? For that is where this all began for us." He stands, buttoning his shirt as he addresses the room. "I am quite sure most of you remember when the storms started. The evening when the city lost power. It was on this evening that we were gathered and heard the unmistakable howling.." He looks to Lunafreya. "Outside of where we currently were. Given there was no power, this caused us to be quite concerned. I sent out a few of my strongest to investigate. When they returned, they reported seeing several large, confused lupines. One of my men even came face to face with one of them, he reported that their eyes were glazed over. They looked confused and their howls and whines were of sorrow." He pauses, placing one hand in his pocket before continuing. "As the storm raged on, the confused lupines gathered and then, as it was reported, disappeared in one flash of lightning."

The Prince removes his hands from his pockets, "It was after this evening that I believe the dreams began, the appearance of that infernal circus and the storms continued." He looks to where Giancarlo is sitting, "From that night, I have tasked Mr. Giovanni and his kin to see what they were able to discover. I will give the floor to him." He then moves to sit and give Giancarlo a nod.

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma feels the comforting touch to her shoulder when Lord Sterling arrives and she reaches up to squeeze his hand before he too joins in. She leans back in her chair, settling in now to hear the mix of voices, and nods back to Kian and Khafra as they make suggestions. And then it's the Prince speaking again, and she takes in a small breath upon hearing that strange wolves arrived.
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Barry peers at the speaker and then begins making a timeline and a word web on one of the sheets of his legal pad, then opens the folder with several satellite images (So high tech!) and reports and surveys (the land and water king, not whethet you like George Wendt), starting to coallate them mostly with the area of northern Houston and the outlying areas.

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya shifts slightly in her seat before giving side eye to Reaches Out who is seated adjacent, her expression thoughtful as she absorbs Ha-Joon’s account. When he finishes, she raises her voice slightly, her tone steady but resonant. "Before we proceed further, may I ask for more details regarding those lupines, as you called them." She looks directly at Ha-Joon, her brow slightly furrowed in concentration. "What color were their pelts? Did your people notice any distinctive markings? And if possible, could you share their approximate sizes? Were their ears rounded or sharp, tufted perhaps? Any detail gathered about their appearance can help us narrow down what tribe they might be. For the sake of transparency, the Sept has not engaged in any operations or patrols near the aforementioned location."
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

"What direction they were coming from would also be good." Reaches Out adds onto Lunafreya's questions.

The talk of wayward wolves also draws Khafra's attention. He listens for the moment, but offers no commentary as the others talk.

Ha-Joon looks to Lunafreya, "Of course. Of course." He says, listening to the questions. "My man told me that they possessed rich mahogany pelts. So rich, in fact, it was able to discern its color despite the darkness and onslaught of rain. I believe the rest of their description was lost due to the shock of their appearance." He looks to the one known as Reaches out, "I believe they ran to the north."

Giancarlo is already standing and when he is given the floor by the prince he will bow his head towards the prince of the city respectfully, "Thank you." He tells him and then turns to address those that are gathered around, turning his head slowly to look each of them in the eyes as he addresses them, "And I just want to say it is an honor and privilege to be here this evening with all of you. I hope that tonight can be a productive night where we can put away our past issues and work to the common good of saving this city."

The handsome and older Italian gentleman will then bring his gold ringed clad hands behind his back into a clasp, infectious smile never fading as he addresses the crowd, "My family contacted some spirits and we were able to ask it several questions. The first was if the storm would stop on its own to which we were told /it will not/. The second was What will happen if it is not stopped?" He will give each of the leaders a look in the yes as he pauses dramatically, "Destruction of Houston and possibly more."

Giancarlo will give that news a little time to stew with the others before continuing, "We asked who will reap the most benefit from this and we vaguely got Outsiders. We also asked about a specific tool or person that is needed to stop the storms and where it could be found. Once again, the spirit was vague and simply said everywhere." The smile will then briefly fade now, his face, despite being hidden behind the white beard, "Finally we asked how it will be destined to stop, and it said a major sacrifice needs to be made."

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

There's a sharp metallic click as Lord Sterling thumbs open his Zippo. He lifts the lighter, cupping his other hand around the end of his cigar. Whiskers twitch and flame leaps as he kindles a hearty coal alight. That done, he snaps the lighter shut, puffing a billow of earthy cigar smoke into the air. "We're given to understand that there's some kind of sorcery at work," he says, reaching up to take ahold of his cigar. "That there's some manner of spell or charm or hex causing the storm to rage. We Kithain keep to ourselves. We've issues enough of our own without worrying about you Prodigal sorts." He gestures with his cigar at Giancarlo. "But as Mr. Giovanni has so succinctly put it, this is something that threatens us all, and more besides. And so, one needs must ask the question: what -else- is this storm doing? If it's generated and sustained by human sorcery, is it doing anything else? Causing uncontrolled metamorphoses? Singing back the souls of the departed? Fracturing time itself?"
----------------------------------------------------------------< Sterling >--

Kian ashes his cigarette into the ashtray as those at the table provide more information. Listening to each speaker, he seems intently interested in the talk of spirits and what infomation it provided to Giancarlo. Nodding a bit he asks, "Did it say anything about the wyrm? From the spirits we had contact with, something about a connection to something called the wyrm? When it brought up before, it seemed to bring some interest. I have no idea what that is or could be."

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya nods, absorbing Ha-Joon's words, though her heart races at the mention of mahogany pelts. She takes a steadying breath, striving to maintain her composure. "Mahogany, you say?" she replies, her voice even. "That’s... significant." She glances briefly at the others in the room, gauging their reactions before refocusing on Ha-Joon. "Their behavior and appearance suggest something unusual is at play. Thank you for that testimony. We will be looking into this matter and keep the council updated on any developments." Her mind races, but she keeps her expression neutral, determined to stay present and engaged in the discussion. As Giancarlo spoke she wrote something down and underlined it but otherwise says nothing else, though she does this once more as Kian is speaking.
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

When Ha-Joon finishes speaking, Reaches Out goes stiff as a board for a moment, and everyone can see the hand bunch up on the table visibly as he seemed stunned for a moment, "Holy shit..." He mutters in a mix of sorrow and awe. "how in the...." He looks to Ha-Joon then, leaning forward, "how many were seen?" The question is pointed, focused, important to him. His attention more focused on that for now, before Kian asks about the Wyrm, "The Wyrm is a force of our world that strives to destroy and corrupt." Reaches Out says, "it is ruination."

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma speaks up soon after Lunafreya, "Our Court Seers, and one of the reasons I was summoned here, was due to a vision that has stirred among our people about this storm here in Houston. We were told that this storm has happened before, and the Nunnehi were able to stop it, but it required a massive sacrifice. It will not be favorable to hear this, but it was said that many Prodigals were in this alliance, and many of them died. Our people are still investigating to find these Nunnehi, as they are elusive, but we will soon find a way."
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Ha-Joon looks to Reaches out, "I want to say four or five." He glances to the door, "I believe one of my men is in the reception hall that witnessed it first hand should you wish to inquire more." He looks over to Annisma as she speaks, arching an eyebrow. "Was this vision in the form of a children's rhyme?"

Barry continues building his little bubbles and links on the paper and comments "There's been an uptick in other activity in the forest areas to the North. Semi-known phenomena occurring with more regularity, possibly intensity. Whatever it is, it's bringing things out of the woodwork. It's made confirmation difficult, trails wash out, missing persons can't be properly searched for with the ground conditions deteriorating. Not to mention municipal issues. Water treatment, erosion, that sort of thing."

On the talk of the storm, Khafra listens to the others before clearing his throat a bit. He reaches for his drink and takes a sip. "I can elaborate a bit more on the storm." Khafra says.

Waiting for everyone's attention, "The storm may have started normally. Otherwise is was started by an errant and mad Magi disturbing the sigil of the Eater of Storms." Khafra begins. "Indeed the storm howled on in this world and in the Umbra. Spirits were displaced, turning the landscape into a chaotic miasma of storm spirits. What happens here, is mirrored there and vice versa." Anyway, Khafra sits back. "This Mage seems intent on letting the Eater of Storms loose on the city, which, would wipe the city off the map. I'm not sure if his intent was to stop the coming Darkness or to help herald it in."

A light shrug, "I've reached out to the local Navajo tribe to try and speak to one of their shamans about this spirit. Sadly, we're running out of time." He gestures vaguely 'Up'. "The storms moved because Jeffrey moved them. He's centered it over one of our places of power. Here shortly, we'll be dealing with him. Once he's gone, we hope to be able to start undoing the damage the storm has caused. Make sure the Seal holding the Eater stays strong."

Since there seems to be no further questions for Giancarlo he will once again take his seat and wait to be addressed again. His mood has shifted once more to it's more jovial and friendly appeal rather than the solemn nature it once had been.

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya raises her hand again, her tone steady but firm as she draws the room’s attention. “I appreciate the insights shared so far. There are troubling reports coming from the neighboring tribe of the Wendigo. They speak of wolves that seem lost—disconnected from reality, as if they don't recognize their surroundings. Their behaviors mirror what we’ve heard today.”

The Fury glances around the chamber, ensuring her words resonate. “Additionally, the Garou have their own legends surrounding the Eater of Storms. It is said that an entire tribe of Garou, known as the Croatoan, once made a tremendous sacrifice to seal this entity away. Their tale serves as a reminder of the price of power and the lengths our people have gone to protect the balance."

Lunafreya pauses, her gaze shifting from one face to another, gauging their reactions. “We must consider these connections as we proceed. The signs are there, and the threads of our stories are intertwined. If we are to confront this looming threat, we must draw on the strength of our shared histories and unite our efforts.”
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

Sterling blinks owlishly as he snaps his attention to Annisma. "The Nunnehi? Why, we've -met- the Nunnehi. We're becoming quite good friends with them. Why, they've even--" He pauses, then clears his throat. "But... -that- bit isn't particularly relevant to the matter at hand." He turns his attention back to the rest of the group, quietly pulling at his cigar as he listens to each in turn.

He leans forward in his seat, reaching up to take ahold of his cigar as he regards the man. "Will you be having need of fighters when you go to confront this mage?" he inquires. "I may be a doctor, but I can handle a sword handily enough. And I'm versed in certain faerie arts beneficial to healing. We Fiona are not wont to back down from a challenge, no matter how dire."

He glances over to Lunafreya, perking a shaggy silver brow. "How intriguing," he muses. "Stories are my peoples' very lifeblood. That -this- particular tale should ensnare us now... hrm. Worth consideration, I should think."
----------------------------------------------------------------< Sterling >--

"Thank you." Reaches Out replies to Ha-Joon before he looks over to Annisma, "I know that name..." He brings up a hand to his chin as he thinks, "I'll see if I can find out more from some people I know." He looks to Sterling then, "I would appreciate an introduction after we're done here, then. My people have had dealings with them in the past."

Ha-Joon looks around the table, "I wonder, if I may, have any of your respective people received dreams... Well, more nightmares really.." He says with a glance to Giancarlo before looking back to the rest. "in the form of children's rhymes?" He says from his seat.

Barry scratches some notes and starts linking back names and concepts before saying "The Bureau of Land Management is likely willing to provide certain resources if they can assist in resolving this situation. At the very least I can provide operational cover, when and if it comes to it. If you require data points, that's doable enough," he says, indicating the mapping and tracking reports he has. He does frown a little, tilting his head a little, going back to active listening with regards to the rhyming dreams.

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma does speak up as she recalls the question Ha-Joon is now presenting, "The vision from the Seer was not in riddles. Nor in rhymes. And as far as I know none of our people have had children's rhymes coming at us or appearing in other things." She gestures to Sterling to second this, as if checking in to see if he's aware of anything different.
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

A look and nod to Sterling says they'll talk later. As Ha-Joon brings up the rhymes, Khafra says, "I've only heard of one having a dream." A pause, "But every prophecy that's come to light has been in the form of a nursery rhyme. I gave most of what I had to Abraham."

"We recently had a Seer fall ill after having another portent. I've not had the opportunity to share that particular rhyme. Though I'd be acutely interested in what your dreams have been alighting to."

Giancarlo is remain politely attentive to everyone as they speak, taking note of what is said. It is when Ha-Joon speaks up that he will turn and nod his head to the man, before looking to the others to see their reaction. After they have responded he will hmmm thoughtfully, "Well, there goes the theory that everyone in the city is having them."

"Quite so." He says looking to Giancarlo. He then glances to the rest, "I have had one of mine gather reports as, it seems, each kindred has received either a different version or different portions of said dreams." He stands and nods to an attendant standing by the door, "If you would please gather Miss Whaldon and let her know we are ready for her." He says, taking his seat.

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya shifts in her seat, her gaze steady as she addresses the room. "I cannot speak to the nature of nursery rhymes in relation to our current situation," she says firmly. "The dreams I’ve heard of do not come in that form. They seem quite mundane despite their contents, though I can return to the Sept with your query to contrast and compare. Axel, one of my people, has dreams sometimes. He told me about a vision of his recently but as he is not on hand I could not relay it to you this time."

She then glances at Reaches Out, nodding in acknowledgment of his contributions. "However, I must note that Reaches Out will be departing shortly. Another member of our Sept is here to present a detailed account of a most pressing threat that we cannot afford to overlook."

Her tone becomes more resolute. "It’s crucial that we remain united and informed as we navigate these challenges. I urge everyone to lend their ears and hearts to what is to follow." With a calm yet commanding presence, she prepares for the next speaker, her focus unwavering as the atmosphere thickens with anticipation. To Barry, Lunafreya actually turns to address directly after hearing his offer. "Actually, if you would be free to speak after this meeting the Sept would love to forge a relationship with both the Bureau of Land Management as well as Parks and Wildlife."
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

As he is dismissed, Reaches Out stands up and gives a nod to Lunafreya, "I'll get right on it." Reaches Out looks to Sterling then, "I'll be around." With that, the Garou walks out.

When Ana is called upon Giancarlo will take this as his que to depart. He will rise from his seat and button up his suit jacket, give a bow and white toothed smile to those at the table, "It has been a pleasure meeting you all." He will say as parting words before stepping out from the table and holding the chair for the soon to be approaching Ana. He will give her a perfect smile and hold the chair out for her to take a seat in, should she choose, and push her in.

"From what I've seen, when one of these prophecies has come in, the receiver gets it in the form of a nursery rhyme." Kian answers for only what he's seen with his own eyes and ears. "It wasn't a dream, it was an episode, almost like a possession of an oracle type of means of getting the rhyme."

"Thank you." Ana smiles as she steps into the room, and Giancarlo holds the chair for her and lets her tuck herself in at the table. She glances around at those who are here, nodding to Reaches Out as he steps away. "I would assume that we've come to the portion where we're discussing what we're receiving generally as dreams, and others seem to be getting them as visions, yes?"

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma continues to hold the walking stick in her hands and she bows her head as Ana is heard coming in. "Yes, my my, yes we are." She perks up as she senses one more newly coming into the room. Her head doesn't quite turn to look at anyone in particular, but she does use her other senses to know things.
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

All the tagteaming in and out, gets an arched brow from Khafra as he looks to Kian. A little shrug and he turns back to see those entering. Ana's given a polite smile and nod of his head. Gunnar's given a slightly deeper bow of his head but he turns his attention back to the table at large.

Pushing through the door, letting it swing closed, a powerfully built Neo-Viking enters the Eclipse Chamber. Gunnar immediately makes his way to stand behind Lunafreya where he posts up. Piercing blue eyes scan over those gathered as if in that time he can size them all up. When it seems he is supposed to speak the large Fenrir states, "For those who do not know me, I am Gunnar Ulfson, called Wyrmbane among the Nation. Adren Warrior born under the full moon, son of the Great Fenris Wolf, and a member of the Hand of Tyr. I am what you might consider the General of our people."

He clears his throat and begins, "I sent my scouts on a recon mission to see what we are dealing with. It proved to be more dire than first expected. What we first though was merely a demonic presence brought on by some cannibal hillbillies has grown into something worse of the years, or who knows perhaps decades. We have no idea how long it has been left to fester."

After a brief pause to let them digest what he just said, Gunnar continues to explain, "What was found is called a hellhole, a place of extreme corruption. This in itself would be cause for serious alarm, but within the hellhole is what is called a Wyrmhole. It is a thing, in this case a spirit, that has been corrupted by a bane and made into a point where other evil spirits are attracted and gather like a swarm of flies on shit. If that were not enough, this spirit was once a powerful Elk-God. It is the Spirit of Sam Houston Forest itself, a spiritual representation. Now it serves destruction and corruption."

After getting Ana settled into her chair, Giancarlo will give her a brief rub to her shoulder and shot her a wink if she happens to be looking his way. Then he turns and moves to exit the chamber.

Barry nods toward Lunafreya in assent, then turns his attention to the other werewolf before recognition dawns and he says "Oh, so that's what the whole cannibal thing was about..." Though the mention of the spirit of the forest being corrupted makes his brows knit and he sits forward. There are many questions inside of him, and he's pretty sure nobody here can answer them.

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

The news from the General seems to grab the old lady's attention and she now turns a bit more in her chair to hear the direction of his voice. Both her hands twist on the walking stick in her hands as if she's in deep thought before speaking next. "News of your Elk-God's corruption has reached all the way into Hibernia. Several Kingdoms even now unite to contract with treaty to bring aide to this fight upon you.' She taps her stick upon the table to emphasize, "Silver Tara hears your call and will bring re-inforcement." She waggles her brows a bit as she can behind those darker glasses she wears. "There will be dragons." One of her hands lifts and she gently gestures into the air as if sweeping aside worries. "Our Knights will come to your aide and assist you General Gunnar Ulfson, Wyrmbane of the Nation. With one caveate."

Of course there is a price. "We will not kill this Elk God. We will heal it of corruption and return it to where it is destined to be. IN, this forest, one of the last dwelling areas of the Olde Ones."

Ha-Joon glances to Ana as she prepares her notes and looks over to GUnnar, furrowing his brows as the man speaks. "That is most troubling indeed." He glances Annisma and then to Lunafreya, his expression thoughtful. He looks to Ana, "Are you ready, my dear?" He gestures to the rest, "If you could share what you have collected on the troubling dreams." He says with a smile.

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

Sterling turns his attention to the great Viking General as he strides in. He listens to Gunnar's report, quietly puffing at his cigar with a dour frown on his silver-bearded features. He's mid-pull when Annisma makes that particular declaration. He coughs and splutters, thumping his chest. "Graces be good!" he wheezes, looking to her. "Is -that- what--" He pauses, glancing side-eyed at the rest of the gathering. "Perhaps later. Ma'am."
----------------------------------------------------------------< Sterling >--

Well, that's a lovely picture that Gunnar paints. He rubs at his chin a moment in thought. A look to Kian and then back to Lunafreya and Gunnar. Khafra nods and says, "You know you but need to ask and we'll answer the call for help." A wan smile, "Something like that affects everyone and everything around it. We can't let it grow any further."

Kian ashes his cigarette and then looks down to see most of it has already been smoked. Crushing his cigarette out in the ashtray once Gunnar and Anna have both have spoken, he nods to Gunnar, "We can go and burn it down. Just let me know when and where." Smiling a little he looks over to Khafra and then gives the other mage a slight wink.

"That price is no price at all." responds the large Fenrir. "It was already part of my plan, Miss." he grunts out at her and reaches over to slap her for her insolence! No he doesn't do that, but he might have thought about it! "Once I know how many we will have, I can finalize the battle plans which include cleansing the spirit to return him into service of Gaia." With that, he bows his head slightly and steps back.

Then you have people like Kian talking about burning stuff down. Gunnar has to remind himself they are here to be diplomatic! He just barely growls. Just a little.

"That is worrisome." Ana listens intently to Gunnar, a furrow briefly creasing her brow. She looks over to Ha-Joon as he promps her about the news that she has to share. "Good evening. For those who have not met me, I'm Ana Waldon. I've been speaking with the Kindred of Houston about a dream that many of us received during the day approximately two weeks ago. As best as my information has provided, there are two variations on the dream and they are clearly related to each other." She looks over to Kian and nods. "Your visions or prophecies have been of nursery rhymes, and our dreams are no different. Both of ours are a play on Hickory Dickory Dock, although lighter on clocks, and more delving into a great deal of Abyssal and lock imagry, with a forboding sense of ancient beings."

Ana looks around the room. "So far I have had reports of visions involving Jack and Jill as well as Little Bo Peep. Are there others?"

Ha-Joon looks to Khafra after Ana speaks, he then looks over to the Lupine and finally the Changeling. "For those who are present in this council, we can have copies of the actual rhymes made for you if that would help as a point of reference."

While Gunnar needs to be diplomatic, the park ranger turns a dangerous look toward the mage's joke with those kind of eyes that are kind of too wide to go with the fixed frown on his mouth. Cosmic power be damned, apparently Barry is willing to Cut You So Bad.

Something seems to bug Khafra. His brow knits together for a moment and he shakes whatever it is away. He paints on a little smile and then looks back to the room. To Ha-Joon and Ana. "We had one with a Hickory Dickory styled dream." He opens the notebook in front of him. "The last prophecy was Jack and Jill. I've not heard of Little Bo Peep."

"I would be most interested in copies of your findings. I can make a copy of the last rhyme available too."

Kian can't help but grin as he finds his pack of cigarettes to clarify, "It sounds like a cleansing is needed. All the taint and corruption, the cleansing fires of Asha." Shaking his head, it's clear he gets he's being misunderstood but isn't too worried as he nods in agreement with Khafra and his ask on getting the copies.

"I would be glad to share copies." Ana nods to Khafra. "I can share what I have, if you would be so kind as to share the ones you have. Have you had any insight into how they all fit together?"

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

Sterling scowls dourly at Gunnar. But the firey Fiona lord reins in his temper. This is a place of truce, after all. "Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep," he quotes around his cigar. "And doesn't know where to find them. Let them alone, and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them. Hrm." He glances to Annisma. "What do you think, ma'am? So many disparate pieces to this particular puzzle. And, aside from lending force of arms and the wisdom of our Nunnehi friends, I've still yet to see wherein -we- factor in all this."

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya’s expression brightens at Annisma's news, a glimmer of hope sparking in her eyes. “It warms my heart to hear of Silver Tara’s support and the promise of reinforcements from Hibernia,” she says, her voice resonant and clear. “The unity of our people is vital in this time of need. Healing the Elk God rather than destroying it speaks to the strength of our values. We must preserve the balance, even in the face of corruption.” However, her gaze shifts sharply toward Gunnar, a fierce intensity in her eyes as she gives him a pointed death glare. “We are not warriors alone; we are caretakers of the land and its spirits. Let us remain true to our purpose. With that being said, Gunnar and Annisma are correct. The reason we seek assistance with this matter is because accomplishing such a cleansing will not be easy. Even the Kindred would be welcome in this fight should they wish to throw in their lot with us. We, too, would be willing to return such a favor in the future. Isn't that how your people operate Prince Ha-Joon?” With that, she turns back to Annisma, her demeanor softening once more. “Thank you, Lady Annisma. Your wisdom and the aid of all you offer will surely be a beacon of hope for us all. It will take us many moons to return such kindness and generosity, but a wolf always pays her debts.”

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma listens to the many voices in the room and with her eyes closed. For now. "We'll need copies of these rhymes to share with our Court Seers. We may not be touched by this because it is not our Dream to be having. It is their dream."

She pauses once again to hear LunaFreya speak, and another great pause, as she hears Sterling's voice. Once the room is quiet once more she will share words. "It is the Ard Righ's will." She shares this with LunaFreya. "We will share more words soon once we know more. But favors and boons will most likely be exchanged, yes. It is the currency of exchange, of energy, and in this world, unfortuantely such things are necessary. We will aide you in removing your blight with our Airforce, and our Ground Battalion."

She searches for Ha-Joon's direction and next for Khafra. "And what say you? Will you help close this Wyrmhole before more Gods are taken, such as yourselves? Who is a god in this world really? The old ones? How old. Will the magic be stolen, if we do not rise? I say we are all invested in this. We close the hole and we seek the Nunnehi. Find out how to end the storm and we do it together. Otherwise, it is doomed to spread."
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Closing his notebook, Khafra sits back and rests his hand on the top of his cane. His brow knits in annoyance. He looks to Lunafreya as she speaks. A light shake of his head as he looks to Kian curiously. For now, he says nothing more.

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Annisma points at Barry too. He's not forgotten.
-----------------------------------------------------------------< Annisma >--

Ha-Joon looks to Sterling, "The rhyme is a play on its original form. We can provide a report of the dreams and their respective rhymes to all who wish." He then leans back in his chair and glances over the rest of those gathered. "I - - " He Pauses to look at Lunafreya, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "I was just about to offer the aid of my people to ensure that this city is not destroyed." He looks from Lunafreya to Annisma and then to Khafra. His eyes then fall upon Lunafreya, "I will not lie and say that is not how my kind work, but I believe that if we are to be successful in this endeavor and not be the epicenter from which the end of the world occurs that we should perhaps overlook calling in favors and move forward as a united force against the perils unseen."

"That being said, I will offer aid from the Kindred of Houston to this matter and to aid both the Fae, the Lupine and the Magi. I also wish to point out that in all of my long years there has yet to be a recorded meeting of all the races. Especially to result in them working together. It is my wish that this monumental moment is something that will not be for naught." Clasping his hands behind his back, he continues. "Perhaps this could be the beginning of our species finding some middle ground in which we can foster peace and work together in the future."

Barry underlines a few things, and concludes the minites-taking portion of his notes, such as they are, before he tucks his pencil back into his shirt pocket and rises to his feet before he stows his notes. It's creepy when they all talk about being separate things from people.

Kian nods towards Khafra in response then starts to talk in Arabic to him before catching himself. Shifting back to English he says, "I offered my support, so if you and yours are in, me and mine are." That last is said with a laugh, a bit of an inside joke perhaps and then he motions back, "The problem we'll have is we've all got differing ideas on everything. So we'll all need a little thoughtfulness in some interactions. On the potential outcomes and how to reach them." Motioning to those at the table, he seems in agreement with the sentiment Ha-Joon has laid out. "So open lines of communication are key. Will we then work on more of these types of meetings? Some means of communication and the like between those of us at the table?"

"If there is going to be continued collaborations, then it would only stand to reason that there should be continued communication." Ana nods in agreement. "There is so much knowledge, as well as a great many misinterpretations, inaccurate stereotypes and ignorance. Easing some of that, without unduly divesting each other of state secrets will probably go a long way in making collaborations more effective."

--< Lunafreya >---------------------------------------------------------------

Lunafreya shifts her attention to Khafra, her expression warm and encouraging. “Khafra, your voice carries great weight in this council,” she says, her tone respectful. “Your insights are invaluable, and I would not wish for you to feel overlooked amidst our discussions. Your experience and knowledge of the Wyrm and the challenges we face are crucial to our unity. I will make sure Jasmine gets in touch with you very soon so we can coordinate our efforts.”

She gestures lightly to the gathered assembly.

“We all bring unique strengths to this endeavor, and your perspective is vital as we navigate these turbulent waters. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on how we might effectively close this Wyrmhole and protect our realms.”

Her gaze sweeps across the room, landing on Ha-Joon and nodding at the conclusion of his statement.

“Together, we can forge a path forward. Let us not only address the immediate threat but also build lasting connections among our peoples. The strength of our alliance may be the key to overcoming the darkness that encroaches upon us,” Lunafreya says in agreement with Ha-Joon and Kian before rising to her feet. "Unless there is anything else, shall we schedule our next meeting and adjourn? The hour grows late and I wish to return to the Sept before the moon rises." Surprisingly, she will look towards Annisma and Sterling, as if she is waiting for them as well. In the meantime she quickly exchanges contact information with Barry and any others who wish to maintain open lines of communication.
---------------------------------------------------------------< Lunafreya >--

Barry gives out a business card with a special line, as well as his emergency beeper number to folks who want it, and then goes to look up all of these important buzzwords in his Atlas Obscura set back at the ranger station.

Ha-Joon stands when Lunafreya does. "May I suggest that each of us who are recognized leaders amongst our people delegate an ambassador role to each other of our own choosing. This person shall be tasked with keeping open lines of communication." He smiles, "And, perhaps give those outside our respective circles a chance to glimpse at the other's customs and way of life in an educational capacity as well as diplomatic one." He offers to the room.

--< Sterling >----------------------------------------------------------------

Sterling leans over to tap his cigar in the ashtray, offering Lunafreya a charming smile. The old silver fox can be quite the charmer when he puts his mind to it--or even when he doesn't, so naturally does it come to him. "It is said that a tribe of Irish wolves shares ties of blood-kinship with my noble house," he says. "We Fiona pride ourselves on our loyalty. I should dearly love to know more about these long-lost relations. Perhaps we might speak further at some point in time. But indeed, as you say, late grows the hour." He glances around. "I believe there was someone else wishing to see me as well." He turns his attention to Annisma. "Do you require an escort ma'am? I should be happy to conduct you back to the estate."
----------------------------------------------------------------< Sterling >--

As difficult as it has been, Gunnar remains silent after saying what he came here to present. There are times his jaw tightens, clenches even, and yet the big Fenrir holds his tongue with arms crossed over a broad chest. When Lunafreya declares it is time to leave, he is somewhat relieved. Waiting for just a moment until his companion heads out, he actually glances at the frail old woman with a wrinkle of his nose; disgust perhaps?

--< Annisma >-----------------------------------------------------------------

Anissma, known publicly now here, as The Pearl of Water will give a slow dip of her head to Ha-Joon's words. She's listening to the words around the room. "I think we're in agreement here. An ambassador among us. Lord Sterling, if you would please leave your card here for the others?"

"It is definitely a beginning where the rest of the supernatural world is watching us. What graces we make, or what mistakes we make, will forever go down in history. So we must remind ourselves, that everything we do must be for the unity of our shared goals." She rises from her chair as Sterling offers her aide. "Yes, dear. That would be kind of you."

< Annisma >--

As cards are being exchanged, Ana adds her own calling card to the mix. "Thank you all. I look forward to hopefully speaking with more of you soon." She stands as well, smoothing her skirt as she does, prepared to leave.

Using his cane, Khafra rises as the others do so. He takes a deep breath. "I will take all this back to the Chantry Leaders." Khafra says. "I will do my best to ensure that the Awakened of Houston are in line."

"I have most, if not all of the prophecies that we've acquired since they started months ago." He adds, "I have always made my skills available to those that I consider friend. That has not, nor will it change." He smiles a little towards Annisma, "That is extended to new friends."

At the talk of keeping in touch, "I am not hard to find. My Gun Club is where I can usually be found, but I'll give my number to all." He pulls a few cards out of his pocket and offers them around the table.

Ha-Joon nods his head. "You may find me at the River Oaks Country Club should I be needed." He bows t othe rest, "It has been a pleasure meeting you all..." He then looks over to Annisma, "Or, in your case, in seeing you again, my dear lady." He says in her direction, hoping she will realize he means her. He then offers his arm to Ana before moving to the door.
